Blessed Fathers’ Day!
We are thankful for the fathers that are present. We pray that our fathers will stand strong for the Lord and will be strong leaders for the Lord in their homes and will teach their families the ways of the Lord.

Filipino Filmshow Outreach
We thank the Lord for the outreach and the opportunity to reach some Filipinos for the Lord. May God grow the Filipino Ministry.

Discipleship Training Course
We have the privilege of Pastor Chantha Chhim preparing to teach a workshop series that will prepare Ambassador Baptist Church to go and make disciples for the Lord. We are in the midst of planning the dates for this course. More details will be out later. We are praying that the Lord will give us fifteen members who will dedicate themselves to this important work, not only to call the people but to personally follow the young believers up till they grow up to be disciplers themselves. It will be three sessions of two hours each. Do pray and be serious about doing the will of GOD. The church will not grow unless we go. There is a sign-up sheet that will be placed at the notice board. Kindly write your names down by next week so that we can call for meeting and make arrangements for the sessions.

Follow-Up Team
We are planning by God’s grace to have a follow up team. The primary purpose of this team is to call up prospects, send invitation and visit if necessary so that we can follow up on the people that have visited our church. Do pray seriously for the concept of this team and do pray that GOD will raise up a team which will do the work for the Lord. We will need a team of different nationalities as we are seeking to reach the different sectors for the Lord i.e: English, Chinese, Filipino. There is a sign-up sheet that will be placed at the notice board. Kindly write your names down by the weekend 04th July 2010 so that we can call for meeting and make arrangements for the sessions.

Ambassador Baptist Church 1st Anniversary Celebration
We thank the Lord for the first year since our independence last year and God’s blessings on us thus far. We want to honour the Lord for His grace towards us. The day of the Independence Celebration will be on the 18th July 2010. More details will follow. Please pray for this very important time.

WEEKLY
PRAYER
In the morning before the Sunday Bible Hour, there will be prayer from 8.40am to 9.15am. Those who are early, do join us as we implore the Lord’s power on the meetings. Let us pray together that GOD’s will may be done.

Teens’ Overnight Fellowship
There will be a teens’ overnight fellowship next week. Kindly note.

Time: 2.30pm till the next day.

Friday Night Bible Training and Intercession
God has been blessing our learning together as we hear how our gracious Creator God descends to us, to be our Shepherd. Meditations in the Shepherd’s Psalm – a twelve week lesson on how the Lord cares for us and how we are to respond. Some of the titles of the various lessons are as follows: The Anointing.. against the flies/My! Goodness and Mercy/With Him.. Forever

Saturday VBS Reunion
The children’s ministry will be having a VBS reunion on the 26th June 2010.
Program:
10:00 – 10:30am: Songs
10:30 – 11:00am: Lesson
11:00 – 12:00pm: Games
12:00 – 12:30pm: Refreshments and home

Sunday Bible Hour
Do come early to learn the word of God together. We will be studying the book of 1 Peter together
Time: 9.30am

Filipino Service
There will be the Filipino Outreach Service
Date: 27th June 2010
Time: 2.30pm – 4pm

Do pray earnestly for the Lord to add to the ministry as our brethren work for the Lord.

Tracting and Visitation
Do pray earnestly for the printing of the tracts. We are eager to begin outreach every Tuesday and Wednesday Night again. We are thinking and praying earnestly also to begin an outreach on Saturdays. Do pray for the Lord’s leading in this matter.
