THE VISION
God has given us a great Vision—to win the North for Christ. And a great Mission—A thousand souls for Christ in five years! We want GOD to use us,
but we must catch the Vision! There will be plans made and activities conducted in view of the vision and mission GOD has given us. Let us be involved
for the glory of GOD! And the salvation of souls!

FILIPINO OUTREACH FELLOWSHIP
We thank the Lord for the Filipino outreach fellowship and we are praying that the Lord will assist us in building this important work.

THEME FOR SEPTEMBER 2010
THE HEART OF PRAYER
God in His wisdom knew that men can never effectively glorify Him without His help. Man cannot glorify GOD without the enablement of the Holy Spirit of
GOD. We are as helpless as babies newborn. But GOD gave us prayer, the heartfelt communication with the living GOD of the Universe. In conjunction
with the prayer retreat, we will be highlighting prayer and the different aspects of prayer. Lord hear us when we pray.

MISSIONS CONFERENCE
We will be having our first Missions conference in Ambassador Baptist Church as we are resolutely wanting to obey the Lord in all aspects of the Great
Commission. Do note the dates and pray as we prepare for the conference.
Date: 17th / 24th October 2010

We are also prayerfully going to support at least two missionaries this time.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Do be praying for the VBS this year as the children’s ministry team are praying and planning about the direction and the outreach effort the year end.

CHURCH CAMP
The church camp is confirmed on the 7th to 11th December 2010.
Do be in prayer for the place and also make arrangements to attend the camp. It will be a wonderful time of fellowship, fun and faith.

“BRING THEM IN “

In practice of what we have learnt over the month in July re: discipleship and reaching out, we will be embarking on a six week goal of bringing souls to
the Lord’s house. Be aiming to bring at least one individual every week to church, praying sincerely that GOD will work in their hearts to save their souls.
Be prayerful also that GOD will use you to disciple them for the glory of GOD.

FAITH BIBLE INSTITUTE

PRAYER RETREAT “ EXPECT GREAT THINGS FROM GOD; ATTEMPT GREAT THINGS FOR GOD” JER 33:3
We will be having our annual prayer retreat in September 2010. We need to pray together earnestly for the power of GOd upon the ministry at
Ambassador and our own families and lives.

Date: 8th to 10th Sep 2010
Venue: PA Bungalow 120 Pasir Ris Road (beside the Pasir Ris Park)

PRAYER COORDINATION / REQUEST TEAM
We are going to form a small team to help track and coordinate the prayer requests of the church. We will be performing a trial of the prayer coordination
and request sequence and we will need the following:
-8 people to assist in the trialling of this process (it will last a month).The goal is to use it, test it, provide feedback on it and then finalise it before
we use it as part of our church’s work.
-People (two) to be part of this small team. Work includes collating prayer requests from the church via email, website, spoken, and written;
notification of prayer requests to the church members via email, printed page etc, updating of answered prayer and removing those that the
Lord has answered.

-Those who believe the Lord would have you to do this, kindly approach Pastor Johnny.

WEEKLY
FRIDAY NIGHT “RIVERS IN A DRY PLACE”
We will not be having the Friday Night bible training as we have just ended the Prayer retreat. Kindly note.

“FISHERS OF MAN” HOUR
Matt 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. That was what Jesus told Peter on the shores of Galilee, and that is
what He is saying to every believer today. We need to be fishers of man for the Lord’s sake and for the souls of man.

Tuesday:
We will be preparing for the prayer retreat on Wednesday so there will be no tracting this Tues. However, we can take this time to visit our prospects if
necessary.

Wednesday:
Yishun
There will be no tracting as we will be at Prayer Retreat in Pasir Ris.

TEENS CLUB
Time: 10.30 am
Venue: At church
We will be studying through the book of Acts and we are praying for more teens to come. If there are some teens or people whom you know will benefit
from this club, do invite them.
